Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs for Event Organisers
What is graphic recording?
Graphic recording is the live visual capture of ideas, conversations, and presentations in real-time. As you speak, I listen deeply and draw what I hear—translating key messages, themes, and emotions into a visual map that helps people see the conversation as it unfolds. It brings clarity, memory, and engagement to any event.
What types of events do you work at?
conferences, summits and forums
Workshops and strategy sessions
Community dialogues and storytelling events
Online webinars and Zoom sessions
Internal team meetings and retreats
If you don't see yourself on the list, reach out anyway. Whether your event is intimate or high-profile, in-person or virtual, I adapt to your space and needs and am open to drawing different types of gatherings.
What's the difference between graphic recording and graphic facilitation?
Graphic recording captures what's happening in the room as a visual witness, while graphic facilitation is more involved—I help shape the flow of the session and guide the group using visual tools.
I offer both, depending on the level of support and interactivity you're looking for.
What materials or setup do you need?
I work digitally using an iPad and draw live in Procreate. This allows me to:
Share the work on screen in real-time if needed
Deliver high-resolution artwork soon after the session
Work discreetly in any environment without the need for wall space or markers.
If you'd prefer paper-based recording, just let me know, I can adapt.
